Grabber UHP
#11
I've had the UHP's on my truck for about 3 or 4 months now, with about 5 or 6K miles. Haven't even had to rotate them as of yet. They seem to be wearing great, have not done any un-necessary smokey burnouts or anything. I have the 275-55-17's. They are wearing much much better than the Yokohama AVS S/T's I had. Sound is much quieter also, and man do these things hold the road. I actually think they hook better on wet roads than they do on dry.

when i ordered my tires last year i got them from tire rack. i was very skeptical about purchasing a set of generals. i called and spoke with one of the salesmen that specialize in sport truck tires and he told me that they beat the living **** out of this tire and it kept coming back for me. he went on to tell me what all they did and this and that and how it compared to the other sport truck tires on the market. needless to say i was reassured and purchased the tire. i have been happy ever since.
my wet traction is perfect. i really don't have to do anything different to drive in the rain.

I agree that I was skeptical about going with the Generals. I liked the yoko's but they wore out way too easy. I was going to go with Toyo's, but they offered the little bit shorter diameter tire 275-55-17 in these so that was the big deciding factor. Now that I have these, I am very very impressed with them and wouldn't hesitate for a moment to buy another set.

got mine about 4 months ago and have beat heavily on them and still look new. like stated, the wet traction is great, and the dry even better. i had the GT-2s on the truck when i first got it and they didnt last but 13,000. these generals dont make any road noise that i have heard and really arent that rough on the ride. i have recommended them to all of my friends and will keep recommeding them and buying them. i have the 275/45/20

ive read bad reviews on tread life, how long has anyone ridden these? i should probably add about 10000 miles to the life to any number i get as they will probably have been driven harder than the average consumer
