Im in the market for some new rubber in the next days. Tire size I have in mind is 275/45-20. The Grabber UHP seems to have a good price and ive been hearing nothing but good comments about it. Ive also checked several places and seems like tirerack.com has the best price on them. Those that have them, how have they hold up so far? Also my RC/SB Sierra has a 2/4 drop and my old tires were 295/45-20's on 20x9.5 wheels with no rubbing problems. Do you think the 275/45-20 will be to tall and rubb? Any pictures of dropped trucks with the Grabber UHP 275/45-20 would also help me a lot. Thank, Jesse....

275/45 are gonna be a shorter tire than the 295/45 any way you look at it. sidewall height calc... 29.5cmx45%=sidewall of the 295/45.........similarly, 27.5cmx45%= sidewall height of the 275/45

I'm about to buy a set this weekend still have the stock 16" wheels. I'm not sure if i should go with the 275-70-16 or the 255-65-16 . I need a little wider tire than the stock ones but will the 275-70-160 be to tall? thanx

it will be alot of sidewall but if you want a wider tire then you gotta do it i guess....should be good for some traction though. just measure it.. the 275/70 is gonna be about 2inches taller

I'm probably gonna get a set of these too. Probably the 285/50/20's. My main concern is if they ride smooth, I got rid of my lifted truck for the v-max one reason was that I was sick of the bumpy ride. Someone mentioned the ride is almost smooth as stock though, what were your stock tires?

I replaced my GTII's with the Grabbers and they handle a lot better in the rain and have less road noise. Plus the tread pattern looks more agressive.

I'm currently running bridgeston dueler's (265/70/17) on my stock wheels. Going to a 285/50/20 will probably not be as smooth of a ride, since theres less sidewall. I guess I just gotta deal with it though.

I just got a set of 255/65-16's mounted up last weekend.. got the whole set for 350 shipped form the tire rack. I've only put about 200 miles on them but they are great on my dropped truck.
