what about the BFG's vs good year eagle RS-A? or good year eagle HP ultra plus...i figure ill be going with the BFG's tried and true, the down side with the UHP's is that i buy them and then i have to pay some place extra to have them installed and i get no road hazard warranty or pro-rated usage thing in case i burn them up

Don't get GoodYear anything...Over priced and don't perform as well as the BFG's.

You can get the Grabbers at Discount, they just have to bring them in from the warehouse in Louisiana. They priced mine, but were a little high, about 180 a tire. I got mine from a place called HTC Tire Pros, they have about 5 or 6 locations in the Houston and surrounding area, and got them for 150 each tires+mounting+balanced+lifetime mount/balance+roadhazard. Had them here the very next day.

I agree, don't go goodyears, but the BFG's, Grabber's, or Kumho's would all be good choices. What about Toyo Proxes or Hankook's, don't know about 20" sizes, but these are good tires too.

Oh, BTW, any place that sells General Brand tires can get the Grabber UHP's for you. They may be a special order, but any dealer can get them, offer you road hazard warranties, mount and balance them.

Wanna bet ??

I'm running 295/45-20 TA-KDW's on the back right now because I got a smoking deal on them at Walmart (and a fix-it ticket for bald rear tires that kind of forced me to buy them on the spot), I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be...they're grippier than Eagle GTII's and Ventus RH06's but not anywhere near what I thought they'd be, I can still spin hard all the way through first gear...no different than either the GTII's or the Ventus's. As soon as I wear these a little I'm going Grapper UHP's all the way around (295/45-20's rear and 275/55-20's front...no ABS to worry about)

really? you think the grabber UHP's will be better than the gforce? thats weird cuz i've heard nothign but good things about the bfg's you seem to be running some pretty good power with the head/cam package though, hopefully these tires will impress me, a friend has the tacoma x-runner and he said that his g-force tires are awesome and he launches really well, isnt the g-force traction rating AA where graber is only A?? maybe im just trying to defend my $900 purchase but if anything these tires will perform well and on track day ill slap some Et streets on stock rims
