Default Greater Houston area differential shops

I want to make the move to 4.11s from 3.42s but am not aware of any top notch differential mechanics within a reasonable driving range of where I live. I've heard good things about pyle brothers out in Baytown or Channelview but would prefer not driving over 60 miles. IMO gear swaps are easily half assed and I definitely want to take my truck (which has under 1,000 miles) somewhere that will do the job right. North/Northwest of Houston does anyone have any recommendations?

Take it to Pyle Bros and get quality work done...worth the 60 mile drive.

And when you do get to Baytown you can go eat some Freebirds...it's a win win IMO

This is what I ended up doing. The only drawback was finding someone willing to help me out with two 120 mile roundtrips to drop off the truck then pick it up again. Just dropped it off this morning, got quoted 1697 for parts, labor, everything included using OEM gears in both differentials. 3.42s suck, this will be well worth it.

Not sure where axisT56 is located, or if he actually is the shop mentioned, but he's a member here with a great rep, who I believe is somewhere in the great state of Texas lol:

I would suggest giving Circle D a call on the right >>>>> and see if they can help you out or recommend someone in the area. Vince
