Harden Input Shaft 4l80e

I run a 300M billet input shaft from FLT. Kinda up in the air if one really needs it. I bought one because I built my own 80E so some of the labor savings I put into an input shaft. The 4L85E input shaft is supposed to be stronger than the 4L80E shaft but I don't know what the price difference is between an aftermarket piece versus an 85E shaft. Bottom line is I don't hear too many folks breaking 4L80E's including their input shaft. Not to say they are indestructable... just better at holding back aftermarket power if one is willing to do the swap.
