Hi guys,
Hope someone can help me out here. First the background, My SiL bought a 95 southern comfort edition taho. Awsome truck. 20" rims w/Goodyear 55series tires. It got stolen. Then recovered. The Canadian dealer that is fixing it is a JOKE. They got it back from the dealer after it being there more than 2 months and it rides like CR** now. It is a 4wd Taho. The front suspension is on the snubbers. when I (150lbs) jump on either bumper I can barely get the truck to budge. I think when it was stolen and run out into the field that the torsion springs took a severe jolt possibly altering the ride height or spring rate. Dealer only did a visual inspection of undercarrige and a (get this) 4 wheel alignment. This thing has NO GIVE in the suspension. You bounce in the seats on ANY surface irregularity. Dealer (JOKE) says they've done all they can do and think it rides like a dream. My 2yr old grandaughter about poked her eye out with a sippy cup when then went over a twig in the road.

Torsion bars are hard to damage, those are some robust parts. I would suspect the shocks. It's hard to say what happens to a shock when it overheats. They could have internal damage to the valving.
Take the shocks off and see how bouncy it is then. Don't try to drive it like that unless you like riding on the brink of death, it will be impossible to control.
