Default Have you guys seen these?

I was browsing around StylinConcepts when I came across this: http://www.stylinconcepts.com/parts....familyid/1658/

What do guys think, think it will add some grip on the street? I've seen friends use tractor weights but I don't want to stratch my bed all up with those. I think this is new, I had this idea for a while with the exact same design, so if this thing makes millions i'm going to feel bad..

I thought about with the spare, tailgate, and tow hitch removed and one of these it would equal back out to the stock weight. And wouldn't a large mass of weight in one spot help more than the weight displaced in all different spots? Just a thought..

its good because it disperseres an even amount of weight over the leaf springs to give better traction. I thought about it... but than i remembered that there are plenty of fat chicks that I could throw in the back, lol jk.

It would prolly work great in snow an ice. I think it would hurt ya as much as it would help as far as performance..

Question

Doesn't every 100lbs of weight add a 1/10th to your 1/4 mi ET?

It does but if your looking for traction on the snow maybe it could help a lot.

Yeah, I can see it being usefull in that scenario only. But not for anything else.
I won't be buying one.

I don't know, I may try one. If I can find 300 or 400 lbs. to take off the truck then I figure it would help.
