Not only will the manifold nuts not come off, but there seems to be a bracket that holds the shifter cable and its held on with what Im guessing is a Torx 35 which I do not have what a wasted day. Another note on the yukon denali you have to disassemble the servo to get it to come out it will not come out in one piece.

Pretty sure those are T40 on the cable bracket. Some "how to" threads are some of the things on my hit list once the snow flies up here for you guys. If you have any questions in the meantime shoot me a pm and I'll help the best I can. I will say follow the directions and you should be fine. They are pretty good and I would suggest reading them a few times before starting. Also get some penetrant or heat or both on those exhaust bolts! Vince

My problem is I could get the pan off due to the old manifold bolts that would not break free then my linkage bracket wouldn't come undone not only that I couldn't get the 4th gear servo to cooperate and my 2-3 shift is acting funny only things changed is the extra spring in my 2-3 servo

With an issue on the 2-3 shift I would suspect an issue in the 2nd servo area because of what you have done at this point. Pull the servo back out and make sure you did not damage one of the Teflon servo rings. Also make sure the servo pin is not sticking in the 2nd servo piston. Keep in mind that you have second gear apply oil on one side of the piston. Then also third gear accumulation on the other side with this servo. The spring you added is to increase accumulation.
