Help- did I crush my trans pump ?
So I'm in the process of installing a new converter , I thought I had the converter seated right but apparently it wasn't . I didn't notice until I started tightening down the bell housiing, The converter was touching the flex plate. And the bell housing was almost touching is what scares me ..
I immediately took it apart and got the final seat on the converter .
I plan on finishing this weekend , but now I'm nervous , did I crush the pump or is there a chance it's ok ?
Will I be able to logg the actual pressures or anything once it's together ?

I swear the converter clicked in 3 times but I guess not .
I was cranking on the bell housing bolts pretty good honestly . It was almost matted up to the motor before I noticed the tension on the bolts wasn't right and then noticed the converter touching .
Question now is , do I finish putting the exhaust on and drive it or cut my loses now and drop the thing back out again.
What are my odds ?
