When installing the 80e swap piece into my transfer case we found out that my planetary inside the transfer case is bad and needs to be replaced. I've been told by several shops that it's a dealer only part, so I call the dealer. They tell me it is only sold in pieces and has to be assembled by me, but GM service specifically states that the planetary is a NON SERVICABLE part and to NOT dissassemble or build your own, only buy it as an assembly. I have to find this thing, it's the only thing holding me back from getting my truck back on the road and I'm at a dead end as of now. This is in an NVG149 AWD transfer case. Anyone that has any info on how or where to get the whole planetary please let me know!! Thanks
