Default help geting rid of abs stuff

i am having a good time cleaning up the junk under my truck and would like to get rid of the abs set up. that pump looks prety heavy to me.

on the master cylinder, does the front goto the front and the back goto the back? i guess i could bleed some fluid out and see wich half goes down.

do i just need to t the front and take it to the apropriat side of the proportioning valve? the back only has one line so i guess i just tie that together bypassing the abs pump.

you are doing away with the ABS completely???? I am almost 100% sure the front goes to the front part of the resevoir and the back goes to the back... sounds like you have the right idea of how to get rid of it... any reasons other than weight savings???

this is true... I hate for a vehicle to think for me... you could probably get 20lbs off it by taking all that junk off and pulling all the associated wiring.

ABS is a joke. Then again when my ABS module failed, I shelled out $475 for a new one. I ran my truck without ABS for 6 months. I never made my truck skid once. I don't even know how to drive very well. If anything, it hurts you in some instances. If you hit any gravel, a dip in the road or anything non flat, your ABS goes haywire and you're screwed.

I would think between at least the pump and module, thats 25 pounds, plus all the lines.

The rearmost line goes to the fronts.
The proportioning valve goes on the rear brakes.
May want to also do a line lock while you are at it.
