apparently its not to hard to get working. the new vans still come with 4l80's so you will need to get a tcm with the van info loaded on it. im no tuner so im just passing info on to you. check out this link though and the OP of this post has his truck running with the 4l80e https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=454364
let me know what you find out because ive already ordered my converter

maybe justin from blackbear will give some insight on this also as he told me he will get it working on my truck

I'm pretty sure the vans don't have 6.2's with 4L80's. The 6L80e TCM is on hi-speed LAN, if it's not hooked up your going to run into alot of communication problems. Whats wrong with the 6L?

I understand that. But if you program it, it still won't be able to control it. The ECM has no way of controlling the transmission. When you ditch the 6L80e you are also ditching the TCM. Your probably going to have to change harnesses and use PCM for a 6.0/4L70e, and then modify from there.
