Help identify which 4l80!

Default Help identify which 4l80!

Picked up an 80e, have to rebuild it and update things. Help me identify what year 80e it is. It is a 6 bolt case but the trans lines are about a foot apart. It says it's a reman unit. Iv got a few pictures on it torn down. Here they are

Anyone have any idea what year this thing is so I can order the right parts? Or if I need to take any other pictures of anytging

Tag says 2000 model.

Yep is a 2000. The green tag on the side tells you. The first 2 numbers is the year. Mine says 04 so mines a 2004. But my tag is yellow

Ive never seen the green tag before, only yellow.

It 2000? I guess in 01 is when they started the 7 bolt case?

Green tags are GM remanufactured units. I would bet that it was remanufactured in 2000 if it is a 6 bolt case. Probably a 97 or 98 year model.

All inside parts should be 97+ then?

"Should be".
That assumption will give you grief.

Plus there were changes after '97, so not all parts are interchangeable even on 97 up units.
