Default Help making truck stear easier

Hey I got a question for you guys. How can I make my truck steer like my friends. He has a 1998 Ext Cab 1500. He has big mud tires and custom rims. I mean this very literally when I say when you turn his wheel it feels like there is NO tires there. It is easier to turn than my cousins cadillac. It feels like you are just turning a wheel and nothing more.

I am just wondering if his is stock or he there was something that was done to it..I really like it, totally different than my 2000 silvy. Anyway any ideas guys?

My 97 felt like that after a fresh ps pump, I'm not sure if there's any difference but the pumps look exactly the same from my factory 97 pump and the pump that came on my 02 lq4

Well it was his dads and he got into some stuff so I cannot ask. He really doesn't know himself so I thought I would ask here and see if anyone might know if it is just a different pump or something simple.

Well we figured it out. Never knew about it before. It is the GM Magnasteer setup. Just thought I would let everyone know who cared.

Does anyone know if they make this setup for a 99-2007 body style?
