Help Me Choose a Shift Kit
Once again, give opinions on which shift kit you guys recommend.
Zippy or Transgo? I don't want one too abrupt, because I will be pulling my skii boat from time to time. It weighs 6,000lbs+.
Maybe one that gives the option of just a HD type shift kit thats not annoying everytime it shifts.
Thanks,
Jim

I really love the Zippy kit, Feels racey and firm when your on it, nice and easy shifting at part throttle. really made my truck fun and enjoyable to drive, the wife cant even tell when she drives it easy that it has a shift kit, till ya mash it!!! Also it is proven to help the trans last..

I would rather specifically address the shortcomings of the 4l60 rather than doing an end around by installing an HD-2.
FWIW, I would surely go with what Zippy recommends as he seems to be very knowledgeable with regards to these transmissions.
Again, just my opinion.
