I have one in my truck. I really like it. I got it from ebay for a $175 shipped, but that was about 8 months ago before they got really popular. They seem to be going for more $$$ now.

I think its a great combo. When you punch it and it stalls up to 2800, dam thing puts you back in the seat. That is if I can get traction, thank god for 4wd.

I know this thread is a little old but didnt want to start a new one since there is some good info in this one. My question: I just got the TB torque converter (have not installed it yet) and I had heard that with the 2500+ stall you CAN NOT tow? Is this true? It's not that I tow anything now...but who knows what new toy might need to be towed in the future (i.e. motorcycle/jet ski/boat) and I dont want to limit myself. Any of you guys towing with a TB or other high stall converter?

Thanks.

I don't have any personal experience with the stall, but if it was designed to go into a vehicle that can tow, then it should work fine for your truck when towing. It's the really high stalls that are not any good for towing.
The 2600 TB stall should be fine for what you want out of it.

I have a DACCO remain TB stall, and I tow all the time. As long as you have a tranny cooler, you should be fine to tow your toys, they don't weigh much anyway.
