Default !HELP! Trans slipping and code P0741!! LONG...SORRY

Well this morning on the way to work it felt like my trans was acting a little weird, reving a little higher than normal between shifts and going up grades.
I thought maybe its because of the cold and its just not warmed up. Got to work fine and did not drive all day til I went home. After about 10 minutes on the freeway it felt REALLY strange like it was slipping bad and the trans temp was up around 180-190 degrees!! Mind you it was no higher than 25 degrees outside today. I have not been beating on the truck because it has a boosting too high problem that I am trying to get worked out through Nelson tune and STS right now. I've been very reserved in my driving the last couple of weeks so I know it not from abuse. The truck has about 45,000 miles on it before the STS install last month and has never had a problem. I had to get off the freeway and limp home on side roads at 30mph just to make it. The whole while watching my trans temp gauge closely, the thing has a stock cooler on it which I think helped allot. I hooked up Predator to see any SES codes and saw a "P0741 TCC CURCUIT PERFORMANCE or STUCK OFF" message, not really an SES but was present in the Predator diagnostics under trouble codes. Is my trans going to **** or just slipping??? Man this sucks ***, ever since the tune and STS install the truck has run fine other than an overboosting turbo that really was not hurting daily driving as I was keeping my foot out of it the whole time. The trans since the tune seemed to not shift out of first fast enough under light throttle conditions, like the converter was not locking up and goping to 2nd gear quick enough. Could the tune have screwd up my trans or was it doomed from the start? I did get on my truck when it was stock but never did brake stands or really abused it.
What the hell is up guys??? HELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!

Just checked my fluid on the dip stick and after 5 hours of sitting in the garage its still on the HOT portion of the crosshatches and it smells slightly burned. Looks like the bitch is slipping, but why all of a sudden?? The damm thing was fine yesterday?? This really blows man, now I have to find someone honest around here to do work on this thing, and we all now thats not easy. My weekend is off to a very shitty start. Man I feel like screaming out the front door....WHY ME!!!!! I guess I asked for it putting on a turbo without installing a boost gauge first, and expecting this stock tranny to take it, you'd think a truck tranny would be more heavy duty than a cars!!! Man I'm sorry guys I just need to vent this frustration somewhere. I feel like such a dumbass for even driving it and trying to baby it for 2 weeks. Wish I could say i feel better now but I don't. Hope someone chimes in I need some positive help right now...WAAAAAAAAA

I had all TM tookout of mine and felt it slip once
I pulled the updated pcm and drove it easy till I got
the shift kit in
and that was just cam headers exh and eaton
so it doesnt take too much without a kit to burn it up

ive seen so many on here have the tranny rebuilt so many times
that when mine goes Im gonna go ahead and get the flp level 5
and be done with it

I think these trannys would do alot better if...
nevermind ..there **** from the start

thats why gm put TM in it

I hate it for ya dude and I am venting with ya
but it sounds like your trannys screwed

Man that makes me feel better!!!
Just kidding I figured I was S.O.L.
So what is fried in this pile of useless crap? I don't hear any grinding or mechanical horror just a whole lot of slipping. What are my option on a 4x4 transmission?? I don't want to blow 5k on HD components but what the hell can I do? I hear there is a kit for rebuilding this thing stronger but whats all involved? I'm looking for a tranny guy around here this morning, somebody who knows Chevy and how to make this trans more heavy duty, not just as good as it was stock. It my opinion Chevy really sucks in this case, How the hell is this thing supposed to last if I ever towed to the specs they say can be done???? I can't be making much more than 100 horse more at the crank so what fried this thing? Was it the tune? Can I look at the parameters that Nelson used for shifting with my Predator? I don't want to modify his tune just look at all the data.
I feel like someone shot my dog man, this sucks ***!

I guess I'm asking too much for a Friday night and early Saturday for most here, is everyone still sleeping out there? We have to have more people with some experience on this let hear it guys I can handle the negative critisism. I know I'm a meathead for rolling without a boost gauge for a while there but could it be the tune or do you think the thing was on its way out before the STS install. I really was not pounding on the thing, just rolling into it here and there to gather some data for Allen at Nelson and the guys at STS. Which by the way the guys at STS told me to check the spring color which I know know deignates the correct spring for your application. Wish that was in the STS hand book directions, and along with a boost gauge that I should have installed first. Hindsight is 20/20 after you wreck **** I guess. I appreciate all the feedback everyone.

Man I had nightmares last night about old people blowing by me and construction vehicles leaving me in the dust because my trans was slipping!!! NO ****!!!!

Id say pull the pan
there will be black **** all in the bottom

Id say even a stock 5.3 with no TM and no shift kit
would burn one up in a certain amount of time

Id do a FLP level5 or an 80 crank up the boost and call
it done in your situation
and not go through several trannys and$$$ having them rebuilt
like others have done

Its one of those things
not if its gonna happen but when

It sucks when you break something and ask for help
and get no replys
but ask about a muffler, tune, intake, or something thats been discussed 1000 times
and your inbox will runneth over

heres some people Ive found that knows trannys pretty good

Word Brother, maybe I should ask about mufflers and intake tubes and some other crap and insert subliminal questions about transmissions and rear ands and turbo boost.

Thanks for the feed back man, if I can ever help you let me know.
