I bought the Slam Air kit(jegs is cheapest). And I actually bought the 4" lowered kit first..by accident and had it all out until I noticed I didn't buy the Flip kit 4" kit which is what I needed...well the only difference in the two was a little bracket that went under leaf to hold the bag base in place..I have a 05 and if you have a nnbs than which require more lowering to equal a nbs I believe you will be fine. It's a generic kit but don't worry if your mechanically enclined you can handle figuring out where it will work best on your leaf spring...in front or behind axle whatever works best.

thanks for the info JD! so how is the quality on air lift? any problems? i found this kit it might be the same one u got. Amazon has it for a real good price...1 thing though, my leaf is pretty close to the frame (vertically) im afraid the bag wont fit between leaf and top bracket.. do u know around how much is the min distance in inches for the bag to work? as in the threaded portion on the provided install tool in kit?

http://www.amazon.com/LIFT-59209-Air...2273459&sr=8-1

the other issue i see is it states it needs 5" of clearance betweet the bracket & tire and well i have a 10" wide wheel.. BUUUT they are 24's so maybe the rim is big enough to spin around it and not next to the bag when its fully inflated???? i dunno this is the only kit so far i have found that i think will work for me...

sorry for a ll the questions and thanks for the help

How is the clearance from the axle to the frame? I would say if you plan on a notch just use the same companies helper bags as the notch. I did that with the McGaughy's and it worked great. I have loded it up with about 1500 lbs of wood and hardware and it only took about 45 lbs of air to get it back to level. I put it up to 55 lbs to give me a little room for dips and it still rode nice.

My clearance between the axle and frame is about 2" or so. not to sure though as i havent measured it.. i havent had any issues bottoming out with no load.. when i tow and i hit dips that is when i do btm out some... i wasnt planning on notching it though unless i decide to go lower.. but ill keep researching and maybe take itr to a shop and have them look at it and get an opinion..
