Not to throw in wrench of an idea...KANO seems to have it down...but I lost 3 pumps on my 60e before I finally took it to a trans shop that deals with high HP alot and he found that I actually threw my throwout bearing. Nothing was banging around in bottom end yet...but was throwing a/c belts and loosing pumps. If you run into the same problem keep that in mind. It is supposedly unheard of in the automatic transmissions, but happened to me. Good Luck. I am definitely trans dumb and never claim to know alot about them, but my wallet sure hurt after that experience of listening to converter and flexplate ideas.

I spent a good amount of timing setting up the spacers on my flexplate. Tight spot didnt make it easy to place them in between there and threading the bolts. I also had to grind a small section off the ends my verter bolts. They were a good bit too long.
I done he same thing
after all that hard work I noticed all three bolts were bottomed out with the spacers spinning freely
Another thing I did was take a flat surface like mirror or glass and sanded rhe spacers down until they were exactly the same
I checked the thickness with calipers
