i want to run a 3000 ish but want to know how it will change my truck normal driving and offroad characteristics

higher stall isn't great for offroading.

its 99 silverado ext cab 4x4
5.3 pacesetter shortys chipped cold air true duals
vette servo with stade 2 kit
4.56 with eaton running on 33's

i know a lil on how they work, but am curious. i offroad a bit and climb hills, is it gonna suck with the high stall in there???

why would you be running chipped headers? send em back!



chips are a waste of time unless its a diesel, sorry.

I wouldnt worry about a stall if your lifted or anything. If you off road like every weekend or whatever and the truck isnt a track queen I'd forget about a stall and put a baby cam in if your looking for more power. Then a real tune

i only bought the chip to get rid of the gay speed limiter and to fix the shift points and what not for the gear swap, it is no dog. plenty of power , peels out for 15ft the that again between 2 then 3 a lil too. the first lil umph is maybe where i want the boost the most

stick with the stock converter unless you mud bog or street race, it will suck offroad or hillclimbing IMO.

that is kinda what i am after, i just want to know that if i try to go up a hill do i have to rev the living crap out of my truck to go up?
