high stall confusion
#13
I have a gauge for that
iTrader: (42)
I have 35s with 4.56 and relatively low 2600 stall and it sucks offroad. I rev to nearly 3k before I start moving over stuff, and it is much harder to feather the throttle and stay in control with a higher stall. Unless you just go ***** out thrashing through mud holes keep the stocker.
If you want more grunt the cheap way is lower gears; 4.88s or 5.13s. Expensive way would be a supercharger.

the chip doesn't do a thing other than hold a gear longer and rev till 6000 or so, for some reason the truck bone stock with 265's and 3.73's and factory locker would kick sideways a lil and lay rubber for a couple truck lenghts, why i do not know but it was cool
