while their in there.. go ahead and throw in a beast sun shell in, its a $60 part... make sure that its a high engery "performance" band as well... they are pretty tough and lot wider than the reg high engery ones.

It will make it 63.5 you need also an extra clutch I think. But if you want to think about it you are actually probley making it a little more stronger than the 65E. 65 stands for 65 newton/meter of torque that they tranny is suppose to take. I am sure with all that stuff that you are adding you are probley around 70 or something.

Onyx,

I just noticed your sig. That RULEZ!!!!!!

That build should net you what you want. The 60 can hold a fair amount of power as long as shes built well.

yeh but ecsb truck weighs literally one ton more. weight+radix+tuning past magna's tune=dead 4L60E. You are trying out the tuning right onyx? how much of that torque management have you removed? Dude, I hope you have a built 60 that will last and have no problems anymore, but...unless you are willing to buy one those phase 5 or whatever they call the 60's with enough modding to make it a built 80 for $4000....those 60's just can't handle power and a heavy *** truck. I certainly wish you the best...I rebuilt mine 3 times before I gave up.

i do realize the weight difference. i was just talkin about the f-bodys because i was pointing out the fact that these guys know what theyre doing. i do have TM taken out, i think about 80% or so, i cant really remember... its been ahwile. i plan on getting it tuned even better in the coming weeks.

the truck is at the shop right now, and they said it might be ready friday.
