A 2/4 doesn't NEED to be notched, but it couldn't hurt. I have about 1 1/2" between the shorter snubber and the axle pad. With my firm Bilstiens I still bottom out over big bumps. With a good load of stuff in the back it rides on the bumpstops. Looks cool that much lower, but rides terrible!

Yea thats true. The only problem with that though is if im gonna notch the frame anyhow, i might as well run the 4/7 i was planning to run to begin with. I just thought this way i could have a nice handling suspension and biggest of all, i wouldnt have to notch my frame but if i have to anyways, i might as well go LOW!

The notch is the reason I decided to drop 4/6.. instead, besides the fact that everyone told me if I was going to go lower later it's better just to get it overwith because to go 4/6 after 2/4 you have to put the stock shackles and hangers back on or you will have a 10 inch drop in back with a flip kit..

EDIT when i said McGaughy's i definitly meant to say Hotckis. their TVS is the best handling drop kit IMO.
