I talked to a hotchkis rep a couple years back and that was the shock he recommended and was running on his '01 ecsb with the TVS system...especially if you plan on towing anything.

I am using Doetsch Tech shocks. They are very well made and hagve a lifetime warranty against going out(thats right, going out in general). Only catch is that pitting, rust, nicks on the rod, etc will void the warranty, as will painting them, so dont try to fix the rust and blemishes lol. But They are good firm shocks. The edelbrock's are supposed to be better, and a smoother ride quality. I wouldent go with the Doetsch tech if I wanted a stock like ride, my truck can buck a little on some bumpy roads.
