I like my kit
I feel my front shocks are just fine
My rears couldnt handle it
I replaced the OE's with IAS
Mine rides nice.
I bought my kit from Tybrne - he had a promotion running.
I just bought my 2nd Hotchkis kit for another truck

That's what I'm wondering. Go with stock components and same ride and handling (DJM & McG) or hotchkis and stiffer ride and better handling. Can you guys quanity how stiffer it got?

the front was fine for me
the rear - with my ext cab was rougher than I thought it was going to be.
I called Hotchkis spoke with a very knowledgable person
the use IAS shocks and what they recomended.
The handling is night and day different
Compare - its like riding in a Camaro

Stock STi < Truck Hotchkis < GT Mustang with Eiback springs.
Up grading the rear shocks will help more then the front.
However I have the "Smoth ride" shocks (RPO Z83)

If you get the drop kit, I would recommend getting the sway bars too. I have the complete drop/sway bar kit with the recommended Edelbrock IAS shocks and it handles great! It is a pretty rough ride because the roads are crappy in my area. If the roads in your area are free of defects (potholes, etc.) it will ride like a dream

So from what I'm gathering, you would compare the Truck suspended with the Hotchkis to the ride of a stock suspended F-body or an Eibach suspended F-body. It doesn't matter to me if it's a stiffer ride like with the Eibach on my Formula, cause the roads around here aren't that terrible, and I prefer a stiffer suspension to a loose suspension that is gonna want to have any kind of body roll or oversteer.
