Question Hotchkis springs and chevy lean?

I went through every post I could find about "chevy lean" and was wondering if I replaced the springs, will it solve the problem? I want to get the Hotchkis 2/4 TVS kit. Anyone have the "chevy lean" after putting on new Hotchkis springs? I know if they had the gas tank on the right side, it would help. I know that having the battery, gas tank, and driver on the same side, it would wear out the springs.

Maybe I'll just get somebody like Rosie O'donnel to ride in the passenger side and level it out.

My hotchkis spring actually helped the lean. It only leans half an inch rather than one whole inch.

If you change your fon coal spring and it will completely eliminate the lean.

I don't think this would totally eliminate the problem. Mine actually leans more in the rear than in the front.

I have considered using a 1 inch coil spacer up front and a 1 inch block spacer in the rear. I have seen the coil spacers for sale, but I'm in the dark about finding a 1 inch block for the rear.

To a newer coil spring from a trock without the lean problem. Leveling the rear will not totaly eliminate the problem.

im putting in some shackles along with my hotchkis that are already on there. i'm dropping the passenger side 2 inches and the drivers side an inch.

so it will "pull back" on the front left side.

I thought you couldn't use aftermarket shackles with the Hotchkis springs? I may be wrong but I thought I had read that a couple people tried it and it didn't work. Maybe it's just certain brands didn't fit quit right???

I hope it works for you. Let us know if it does.

Get sway bars. It's the single most noticed change you could make to your suspension. Well I take that back, it will at least put a grin on your face when you take a turn.

Yes, my hotchkis kit helped my lean. It still sagged a little with a full tank but was pretty close to level with less gas. I now have helper bags in the back so I just put a little extra air in the driver's side to keep it level.
