Default Hotchkis vs. McGaughy Coil Springs with pic

I am playing around with the suspension to get the truck to handle better. I thought it was interested to see how much more tightly wound the Hotchkis is compared to the McGaughy coil spring. I'll see if it improves anything.

Yeah the discontinued the 2" drop springs for the front and the 4" drop leafs for the rear. I really wanted to get a set of the 4" drop leafs for my truck but I guess I missed out.

They are discontinued. They still have a limited quantity available. I haven't put it together yet since I am going to POR 15 the frame.

mine feel really good, but so did the mc gaugys. I think the hotchkis are tighter in corners, and dont float, but it could also be my qa-1's too. whatever it is I like it, and only paid $105 shipped for my springs. you gotta call them though. they are not doing truck suspention anymore.

Just following up on my really old thread. Took a picture of the compressed coil springs to show how much closer the coils are together. Also, took a picture of the front ride height. Seems to ride really decent with the new Moog ball joints, and springs.
