Im still shoppping around so Im not set on using this guy.
I contacted phoenix trans and they are like 2k for a built trans, installed with a 3yr warranty. If I had the 2k I would definitely go this route, but thats about twice what I can spend.

Just put a stock one in. If you half *** a "built" trans you'll probably end up where you are right now, except $1000 more broke.

If you were close to me I'd give you my stock 60e for $100.

Yep...

FWIW, there are many good builders with great reputations that are local to me, and I let my truck sit for 18 months while I saved up the dough for an FLT Level7. Of course any trans can break, but FLT's reputation speaks for itself.

Good luck with whoever you choose, I hope that it works out for you and you're happy in the end

You didn't post it, but it was in White2007SS's post that you quoted...I just re-edited your post though, I somehow deleted the end quote tag and the quote got messed up, sorry about that...If I accidentally cut out anything that you posted, I'm sorry Scott, I'm still new to this...

I thought you could post info as long as it wasn't a direct link or say .com?

I'm going to have to go back and check the forum guidelines, but I was under the impression that that rule had changed, and to keep all outside info to PM's...

if I made a mistake I apologize, as I mentioned, I'm still learning the ropes

*EDIT* Just checked the site guidelines...

You can post anything about a company as long as there is no direct link to their phone number or web address.

Saying, hey go buy a transmission from XYZ corp because they're the best and it's only $5 isn't breaking the rules. But if I said, go get it from xyz.com.org.net/free-transmissions-lulz.html.xml.xxxlivenudegirls.gov, then that would be breaking the rules.
