Default How does the stock trans cooler attach to the core support?

Its been a LONG time since I had a stock cooler on my truck. I dont know if the cooler I got is different then the one for my truck or what but I dont see how it mounts. Here is what I have to work with.

I don't remember the upper part 100% for sure, but here's what it looks like to me. The two arms that go up off the top of the cooler look like they bolt to the area where the hood latch is.

I do know for sure that there is supposed to be another cross-bar where the horizontal green line is that I drew. I think there's some kind of mounting point for the cooler there too, right where the horizontal tabs are that I circled in green at the bottom.

There is only one hole up top for those tabs to mount. Thats what ocnfused me, I figured I was missing a cross bar. Now I need to find one of those too

There's a truck here right now that has a stock trans cooler, so I snuck in for a closer look.
