1500 rpms. Stock 4L80E converter that was behind a 6.5 diesel.

4l80e yank 3600 and it flashes to about 3800-3900ish with about 50-60% throttle

same setup as you except i have the cam and 4.30s... yours should be a little looser than that i would think

Do you think it's because of the stock cam? Should it loosen up 500 rpm with the cam? Yours is the 10.5" converter?

There's no way it will loosen up 500 rpm with just a cam install.

im with 00 chevy.. i dont see the cam changing it that much...


this is what i ordered

YANK PRO TRUCK 3600 4L80E LS1
258mm, Posi Lock-Up Clutch w/Kevlar Linings, 6 bolt mounting lugs , lightweight billet cover, 3600 stall, 2.50 STR LS1

that's the same one I have. Guess mine just ended up tighter the way it was built. Flashing to nearly 4000 must be damn nice.

The gearing will mess with it some as well.

Heavy wheel/tire combinations make it flash higher as well.

i definetely have heavy rims/tires!!! ha need to get slicks on and go ride around
