its really pretty simple, just mount it where the air will flow through it well. Then cut your stock return line from the cooler in the radiator, run rubber transmission line from each end that you cut to either side of the cooler. Basically as long as the fluid flows through the cooler your good-to-go.

My truck did not have a factory cooler on it, so I had to start from scratch. i did the typical mounting on the A-Frame in front of the consedor. I wanted to keep the quick-disconnect fiiting on the radiator so I went to Oreillys and bought a quick disconnect fitting for Fuel lines. I had to cut it down a little bit but it fit and no leaks to date.

assuming that your truck is like an 04, you tap into the top line

You can do that our do like I did and go get a fuel line with a quick disconnet end on it. The line attached to the radiator is the fuel line I pick up, or you can unscrew the fitting like mentioned and use the fitting that came with the kit.

That is how I would do it or just cut the line so you can do exactly what this member has done by using the factory line. Just make sure to always flare the ends that you cut. This will give you a little barb on the end of the line that you cut to help aid the hose clamp and hose from blowing off. Super idea by getting the fuel line by the way BlackGMC! Nice and clean.Vince
Dry Kill just make sure that you are tapping into the top cooler line coming from your transmission. This is the return line to the trans.
