how long would a stock 4l60e last with a 408 behind it

Ive seen a full built 408 with around 450 rwhp run on a stock 4l60e with a fuddle 3500 verter for lets see, at least 6 months now. And trust me, it hasnt exactly been grannyd

It just depends.....nobody can give you a real answer. Go as easy as you can on it and it MIGHT be fine....just not fun!

with a 408 behind it? It'll be fine. Put the 408 in front of it and it'll be a different story.

it has stock Vho 20s tire size is 275/45/20

yea im gonna go to newtech today and talk to nick see if hes available to start on it asap ....

I guess i gotta buy tranny temp gauge to make sure i just keep da temp down hah

Ah, thats cool. It should be done in a few weeks then??

An escalade cluster will have a trans temp gauge and they are pretty cheap.

You going to an 80E? I would for sure if you plan on running any type of FI.

Na not more money for F/I...... My truck has been down since thanksgiving.... WELL i had a Trans temp gauge sittin in the back storage room which i just found hehe so ill hook dat one up ...And just got back from newtech and damn when i heard the price of swap my heart stopped
