I got the stingray's on my 4/6, but I am running 275/35/20. With that big of tire I would think 2/4 maybe a 3/5 but that would be close. Maybe someone else will chime in to confirm.

I doubt it. I've never tried that setup in particular, though. With my DJM 4/6, I have run the stock 235/70-16's, and they only bottom out in the fenderwells on bad bumps on the highway. Those 265/50-20's are about 1.5" taller, though, so you'll probably have some rub at highway speeds on bumps.

Is there any one in your area that has a 4/6 that you could test fit them on?

With that backspacing and tire size, a 2/4 would be fine, a 3/5 might rub a little.

i have someone who will buy my wheel and tire combo if i want to go lower.... so question is... do you think i should? or is 2/4 sufficient? i think maybe lower is better? i'm considering hotchkis's system, that is 2/4 with swaybars... but i have the urge to go lower.

I had Hotchkis on my '99 and got tired of the rough ride. I have a DJM 2/4 on my '04 and like it much better. I like the look of a 4/6 better, but I don't like the ride or having to be careful while driving.

I would think you could go with the 2/4 drop, but it really depends on what backspacing you are running. If they are sticking out too much ( a 1/4" could be too much) you can pretty much forget any lowering.

The Stringray's backspacing is fine for a 2/4 or 3/5, it's just the tall tire that might rub on the 3/5.

Not going to work on a 4/6. I ran a 245/40/20 on that wheel with my 4/6 with no problems. When I went to 4/8 I had to roll my rear fenderlips some to help them clear. With a 265/50 there isn't a chance though as that is a huge tire!
