How low can I go
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...1500hd-533203/
I posted this elsewhere and not getting any responce. I have never touched my suspension but due to taction issues and the fact I need a new front end anyway, what are my options?

Really guys? between the two post Ive had 500 looks in almost 15 days and not one person has any ideas as to the direction I need to take my 1500HD to get a better riding truck that hooks better to boot? Im a non 4x4 running gas not deisel making tons of tourque down low and no traction thru 3rd gear from a standing stop... now 25-30 mph roll is a little different but still break tires loose or on the very ragged edge and things get hairy quick... I cant be the only one on here having this problem.. I need some help guys.

You can go as low as you can find a kit for....
Bag it and you can sit the frame on the ground.
As for hooking up...trac bars and better rubber.
A 5 link bag kit will make you hook up far better than anything you do with your leaf and shock suspension...
But it comes down to money
What you running for rubber?

12" wide Nittos speed rated tires.. Yes, MT drag radials are in the works just not a big fan of swapping out my tires every time I go to the track. My biggest issue is my rear end just wont plant... As you can see from my sig I beleive in doing it right the first time.. Im not trying to slam my truck.. its an HD and I do use it as a truck from time to time but it does more road warrier and track duty. Bag all 4 corners or just the rear with coilovers in the front?? I just need a starting point... Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, you should be looking into at the very least trac bars, like assassins or caltracs.
I would put a bag kit in from Ridetech or someone of the like. Gives you the ability to lift and lower, will hook up way better and you should still be able to use your truck.
Certainly not cheap, but you will hook when its dialed in.

Just my 2 cents
In the mean time....you could remove the overload spring to make your rear end absorb a little more

That's what I will do next time I lower my truck...I am a big fan of having the option to have it any height at any time (within reason)
Slammed for highway, stock for the back roads and anything in between.
I also noticed in they're write ups they mention not reducing carrying capacity, that's always nice... seeing I bought a truck to carry things.
