I tried none at first. It shifted better, but I wanted it a little more firm. I went with one washer and haven't thought about it since. It will bark the tires on a 1-2 shift at @ 3500 RPM. I think 2 washers would be too much for a daily driver, just my .02

I have a yank 3600 stall I put one and had my torque turned down on my program. But later I reset a new motor and changed programs and the stall works just fine and shifts good. Put one and you should be ok. I drive mine around town alot and I have no problems at all. You can go old school and put vaccum valve modulator on the tranny and it will slove any problem if you have one.

10-4 and get the 3600 yank it is the better side of life. The stall is just right for driving and passing dodges, fords and rice burners

make sure you put new bolts with lock tight back in your converter. I did'nt at first and like to have purchased another unit. Luckly I found it before it found me.
