Default How much quicker are 4.10s compared to 3.42s on the same exact truck?

Has anyone been to the track with only the gear change?
Or raced two identical trucks with different gears?
What are the 1/4 mile time differences?

I know a couple guys with stock ccsb 5.3 trucks with 4.10s.
I might end up racing them soon.

i have had 3.42, 3.73 and currently 4.10's. i don't consider gears as something to make you faster. quicker only by a little bit. i look at gears as more of a daily driving mod. to me my 4.10's make daily driving so much better in the sense that i don't have to half throttle it or full throttle it to get moving like i used to have to do with the smaller numerical gears.

some people get about a tenth or two from a gear swap.

with 3.42 to 4.10 your looking at about 3 tenths faster.

but do you have a pic of your intake tube? also what did you use to make it?
