Ok im sure we have all heard, your truck gets slower swapping from 60 to 80 but, has anyone actually done a before and after track time? If so, can someone please inform me on about how much you REALLY do lose?

well i went from a yanktt3000 stalled 60E (13.4@102) to a stock TC/80E (13.2@104)
STS 6psi, stock LQ4.
prolly slow down a tenth or two N/A but pick up a mph or two from the gearing. It all depends on the setup tho..

Something in my setup never worked right tho (prolly the sts system?). My best 60' was only a 1.95 and that was leaving on 6psi and a 50 shot. That ended up as a 12.5@111 pass. But most the times 2.0 was all she would do.
One pass it did a 1.88 and bout lost it after 100'. Think water or something was on the track.
Id rather have a peace of mind knowing the transmisson wasnt a weak link than tryin to go a few tenths faster. But thats just me.
