Default How much will a stock transfer case take?
Stock transfer case on a 2001 Silverado Z71. Is it safe to do 4wd launches with the mods I have listed below, or am I gonna break something sooner or later?

Parish is doing 4wd launches and his transfercase is fine.... If you have cranked your torsion bars at all the front cv joints may be at a bad angle... and they will go

I did a little, but it wasn't much. If I get a chance later I will take a pic and see if it's something I should worry about.

i swaped my tcase awhile back for one from a 2500truck.

in my last truck i was into the 11's running 10psi, 6.0 and a 100shot and the tcase never gave me any trouble and it was a stock autotrack.

OK got a pic....is this angle anything to worry about? Doesn't look bad at all to me, but what the hell do I know?

that angle isn't too worry about. On my old 93 3500 I had the angle soo bad it kinked the rubber boots
