i think that line goes from the Driverside of the booster to the steering box?
I can tell you for sure tomorrow.. im not around my truck at the moment.

Yep, On the booster side, the line has 2 90 bends and then goes to the steering box. That's the way I'm trying to run it and thats the way my dads truck has it.

Im thinking you have the wrong hose?

you can try to bend it slightly.. dont crimp it or your in trouble..

I just got the one from the Caddy's now. Gonna pick it up in the morning.
Different part number, so it could be the one im looking for.

Problem #2: The pedal sticks out waaayyy too far. I must be missing something.

Sometimes the hydroboosted vehicles use a different pedal to the vac brake vehicles.
You may need to get that pedal.
Does the rod connect to the pedal in a straight line?

I did get the new pedal. The post is in the correct spot, at least its different than my stock one.

Some of the hydroboost rods are different lengths also.
It's almost impossible to shorten them without destroying the HB unit.

The rod in your booster does appear to be longer than the one I installed. Mine had the offset bolt pattern
