Default Just to be sure...

So if I buy a full factory HB setup including HB, lines, PS pump, HB pedal, and reusing my master cylinder....IT SHOULD ALL BE DIRECT BOLT ON?? Other than drilling one hole for the offset pattern?

Thanks for the advice gentlemen. I know this is an old thread, but due to multiple deployments to Iraq i've been held back from modding my truck. Time to get after it

Want to order the parts for this asap as my power steering pump is on the way out.

After reading the whole thread I'm a little confused. are the angles for the hb pedal and stock pedal the same, and the only difference is where the stud is in them? If so can I drill a new hole and just move the stud on my factory brake pedal?

Also read that some people made a new mounting plate that's 10mm thick, is that to take up the extra space so you can use a stock pedal instead of the hb pedal. I can fabricate things pretty well, so I'm looking at what's my best bet instead of ordering a new brake pedal if I don't have to

The pedal is only $30 or so...how much is your time worth?

I have a lot of time lol. I should just order the pedal instead though. I found a complete setup on ebay with booster, master, ps pump, and all the lines for $240 shipped and the same guy has the pedal for $50. do those prices sound about right? or too high

Sounds good for the group, but I think you can get the pedal cheaper from an online GM dealer.

Short answer YES!

Your eliminating the need for a vacuum source for the brake booster to work correctly and making it more reliable by going to a hydraulic assist.
