Default I am beginning to hate GM Engineers...

Guess what has stopped me from completing the rear end install? The little bolt that connects the brake line to the caliper... Different diameter... Buncha $#@(#$* *$@*#*$(@*#*$ mother (#$*@($*# @#($(@#!!

I honestly think I sat there and cursed for 20 minutes. And not, pleasant, out back of Mom's cursing either. My neighbors probably wondered if I had a sailor over...

So the 14 bolt journey tally: EVERY FASTENER on the rear has to be changed, The only thing that fits is the parking brake... Same year parts... brilliance at its best...

Maybe this little bit of info will make you like GM engineers again, that's if they go through with production.

That is crazzy, You can take a set of heads off a 6.0 and put them on a 4.8, but you can't change the rear-end assy. with out fighting for it. lol
Sit back take a deep breath and think of how nice the truck is going to hook up once your done.....

I know its a different part but we just put a heater core in a 85 Chevy 1/2 4x4 and had to remove the inner fender well to get to the bolts!!!!!!!! I thought my buddy was joking until he started taking out the bolts. You could look in the air duct and see the core but couldnt get the duct work loose to remove it.

I wish they had to work on the cars that they design.

I'd love to start a list. Here are a couple that I had
1) Use same caliper bracket mounting bolts front and rear (why mix torx and hex? Technically this is gone with the rear drums)
2) Add a trans pan drain bolt (not a biggie, but a nice to have)

any others?
