I feel like a jack ***
On my white truck, when I did the first vette servo, I had trouble having enough room, so I "cleranced" the floor pan with a BFH to make room.
On my 08, I learned if youre paitent, you can get it all out just fine with a very small amount of finesse.
Tonight I learned, that by keeping a cool head, you can very easily disassemble it in place and remove it piece by piece.
I also learned that it is actually easier to get all back together if you re assemble piece by piece as you install it. It seemed to fit in place a little easier making the retaining ring be not at all a PITA.
Also learned that HD2 directions seem to look wayyy more intimidating in the shop than in my leather chair.
Ive installed them before, but been a while. I was gonna do it tonight, but looked at the directions, and said Ummmm hell now. When I came in for the night I checked them out again. Now Im kicking myself in the *** for not doing it while I had that damn red fluid in my hair already. (I HATE transmission fluid!!)
