If the bank says yes to the '07 I want, it'll be getting a ZF6...

If they don't... Then I'll be finding a way to shove one into my Blazer

is the 07 a HD? if not, be ready to buy a body lift

and why would you put that in a blazer?! it's as big as your blazer!
...unless it's a K5 or 92-94

I'm prepared to body lift, and cut the trans tunnel

And I was going to put it in my Blazer because the NV3500 can't stand up to my future plans I had for it... Supercharged 6.0 and towing/4x4ing

I don't tow often but when I do it's often over 5000lbs...

My Blazer on its own weighs 4400lbs, which is already over the T56's GVWR, so that would rule out any towing...

Apparently the banks said yes, though, so I'll be getting the '07 2WD today

well you can't use a T56 with a transfer case anyway, but on the weight, there're a couple guys running around with them in suburbans & doing fine. that said - they can't tow & shouldn't haul a lot, but come on, the GTOs are over 4000lb & they used T56s. that's probably why they had Z06 gearing, too

The RS Gear (IIRC) T56 for the Sy/Ty's works

That being said... I got my '07 so I don't need to worry about a t-case

i might just have to look into that...

the only t56/t-case combo i found a few years ago was one some guy custom-fabbed & it didn't work all that great
