I spoke to someone at McGaughy's about the fitment issue of there spindle. They told me if you are running factory 17 inch wheels you may need to cut the end of a bolt off so it won't rub on the wheel. I also found out you can't get a rear hanger for the 05 CrewCab because the factory one is welded on. So I have to go with a leaf spring and shackle to get 4 inch drop in rear. I was going to order the kit but then found out how much shipping was going to be so now I gotta save some more money.

I have heard good things about Mcgaughys spindles so that is a good choice. Only drawbacks are that if you get the 17+ spindle, only some 17s will actually fit and like said, you have to cut down one of the bolts. If you get the 16+ spindle, then I believe you loose some turing radius.

I have drop control arms on mine and have nothing to complain about. They work well for me and I actually do not notice the bumpsteer like others always say. Maybe this is because I try to avoid all bumps though, lol.

Exactly. You have to modify the bolts to make them fit. Why not go with the Belltechs that do not require modifications. I made that choice with ease of installation in mind.

With the belltechs, don't you increase the turning radius?

Isn't MCgaughy's suing belltech for copying their design?

I don't see how. Belltech's spindles are different from McGaughys. The fitment difference should be the give away.

Actually, the spindles seem to be cheaper, I have no idea. This week I'm replacing my DJM lca's with McGaughy's spindles.
