Default If you're thinking about 4.10's

I say Don't Do IT!!!

Get 4.30's instead. I broke my 4.11's (will post pics later tonight) and just installed some 4.30's.
HUGE improvement of course but my converter stays locked up hills it was unlocking up and passing people is EASY with just a lil bit of throttle.
Granted, I am back on some 17"s (31.6") but overall i'm LOVING these and wish I'da done them from the start.

A guy in a 03ish mustang GT was doing 80/85 down the freeway today and I caught up with him. He looked away when I got next to him so I just grinned big and got on it..... He bit.
From 80-110 he got completely slaughtered and holy **** it got there quick. And yes he did try because he was passing up the right lane traffic just as fast as I was.

After that he did the speed limit (65) and stayed about 4 trucks back.

It woulda been nice if he'da at least got back up to me with a thumbs up or something

But Hurting his pride is just as good

Edit: 65mph was 2250 with 265/70/17s

I wouldn't think there would be a noticeable difference. Changing tire size is a lot easier lol

yea. I went Up in diameter but down in weight. I didn't think the different would be noticeable either but it definitely feels much better.

I wasn't a big fan of my 4.10's either, pushed through those gears way too fast with my last set-up.
