Thumbs up

I had a quite a few brake upgrades that I did for my 03 ext cab when I had it. (I miss that truck....truck in signature) I hauled a 6x12 enclosed trailer for years and did some granite countertop installations for about a year. Trailers weighed around 2500-3500lbs. Hauled the 6x12 from Miami to Greenville SC and anywhere in between with my old business and did the counter tops anywhere between Orlando and South Ga. After my upgrades I had zero issues with brakes except for when the tires would loose traction with the ground. I was able to lock them up on command. One of my favorite mods I did to that truck was the hydroboost conversion. Shortly after that conversion I upgraded to braided lines which improved pedal feel big time. It made all of the brake issues that most complain about in that vacuum system go away. I also did install a big rotor kit from SSBC using stock calipers which again was a big difference but with your 16" rims they wouldn't fit. I did use the EBC Yellow Stuff pads and they worked really well but holy brake dust batman! I really liked how quickly they would bite when cold. I don't remember them ever fading when they got hot either (flat Florida roads). Brake wise it felt like a heavy sports car, brakes were very predictable and every small modulation from the pedal was immediately felt in the stopping force. (truck with stereo system weighted 5300lbs with me in it) For what you are doing keeping your stock size rims the hydroboost and braided lines and a solid set of pads would help you big time.

Yellow Stuff (and any metallic pad) do dust A LOT, and its very abrasive dust

PPV Semi Metallics are the best for performance and minimal dusting
