Default inner tie rods 05 sierra

Im in the middle of front suspension replacement on my 05 sierra 2wd and I'm having a hard time with the inner tie rods. i rented a removal tool from orileys which was a joke and waste of time, i bought a tool from freight harbor and it bent. anybody recommend a a quality tool to get this job done?

Haven't looked at one in a while but I believe it has wrench flats. Harbor Freight for a cheap wrench to modify Or large Vise grips.

FWIW, There loctited on

I use a large pair of pipe pliers on them when i replace them. They are also sometimes called parrot jaw pliers...

yes. it has wrench flats, only two and they are about 1/4" wide but the mount for the upper control arms prevents me from getting a wrench on there properly. the moog replacement is a way better design and would be a snap to get off if it on there.
