Input on gearing for mpgs???

How do you get the gears lined up perfectly?

you mean Meshed?

you adjust the shims on each side till the pattern is in the center of the ring gears..

yes meshed! would you suggest marking it with some type of paint?

Read this all the way through, then read it again. If you still have questions you may want to get someone to do the swap for you. I personally was not comfortable with doing it myself on my DD so I had someone set them up for me.
