input shaft
quick question,
can a cracked bellhousing break an input shaft? reason i asked is because i slung my driveshaft awhile back and broke the transfer case housing and transfer case adapter, got everything back together and a few days later i snapped the input shaft in the 4l60. the bell housing has a couple ears broke off of the top and a hairline crack on the bottom. didn't think my setup would make enough power to break the input shaft, esspec with a stock converter.

The cracks could possibly alow the shaft to be stressed in a manor not intended, The shaft shaft is made to withstand a twisting force not a bending force so yes it is possible .Though there are several other possibilities to it could not be ruled out
