2" hangers plus 6" flip kit equals 8" drop just busting ya chops
i failed to read the whole post, sorry!
just unbolt the hanger and then take the bolt out and put it in from the outside and the nut on the inside by the tank. makes it easy for the next time. also are you going to replace the bolts that hold the hanger in or reuse them? did you tack the hanger plus bolt it in? as far as the coils go its easy. jack the truck up an put it on jack stands. jack the control arm up and remove the shock bolts, the upper balljoint nut then the brake caliper and tie it out the way. take a hammer and knock on the side of the spindle (by the ball joint) lower the jack and itll lower the whole suspension. take ur upper control arm and pry it up as far as you can. then walk the spring out and the new one in. its pretty easy. just remember that stock coil has enough pressure to kill you, or just really f you up pretty bad. i like leaving the jack under it until the spring is unloaded enough then remove the jack and walk the spring out

if they are already bolted in with a grade 8 bolt and a lock washer and nut id reuse them. just inspect them and make sure the lock washer isnt flat. if it was me id throw 2 tacks on the front and 1 or 2 anywhere else you can. i dont trust just bolting them in. when i put a notch on my 97 i bolted it in and tacked the nuts plus spot welded the notch. the 01 i had a custom 2x3x 1/4" notch made for it and ran 1", 1/4" thick tubing across to make sure there was no frame weakness. *i still used it as a truck so i wanted it as strong as possible*
